Reported to Magix 5 April 2024 Analogue-sourced AVI (eg videotape captures) imports at 5:4. Setting Object Props Video Aspect ratio to 4:3 does nothing. “1.33” must be typed in so object displays correctly.Still Image Import
Reported to Magix 23Jan2025 In any-aspect format movie, if an image of exactly 720x480 is imported, Magix incorrectly stretches the image vertically to fill the window. For a 720x576 image, the image is stretched horizontally to fill the window. The image aspect can be reset by changing the Object Properties Aspect Ratio back to whatever the image dimensions are eg for 720x576, “5:4” or “1.25” or for a 720x480 image, “3:2” or “1.5”. This bug does not exist for any other image frame size. For example, if you import a 722 x578 file, it imports correctly, with pillarbox bars. Reported to MAGIX 13 13 March 2024. Must de-highlight/deselect the object otherwise the effect won’t stick for export. Need to activate SPR first to get KF working.Object Trimmer Ungroups Video and Audio
On entering Fade values, the video and audio are ungrouped and stay ungrouped unless the object is re-clicked. The ungrouping means that splits (T) will only be made on the video, not the audio.
