Note: Object curves are the method used by MEP 2004, 2005, 10 and 11 to control various effects. MEP 10 PLUS and later (except MEP 12) have a function called the Keyframe Animator, which achieves the same thing as object curves but is easier to use. There is a pretty good description of how to use the Keyframe Animator in Help. Go to Help>Contents. On the Index tab, type in Keyframe and read all about how to use it.
Further, MEP 14 Plus has a much-enhanced Movement function which makes movement of objects (tracking) and the Ken Burns effect very easy.
These screen captures were made with the free Windows Media Encoder 9.
The WMV movies were made with MEP.
The WMM file links are for those who cannot access the WMVs. You will need to download these manually, then rename them from WMMs to WMVs.

Using MEP 14 Plus Movement feature to run a bus along a map route (5.5mb streaming WMV) and the result: Moving Bus on map route. WMM file one and two

This is for MEP 10/10+. MEP 11 and later use a different (and easier) system.
