Youtube-MEP14

 

This procedure is for MEP 14 Plus but may also work for earlier versions.

These settings represent a good balance of quality verses file size/upload time (of course, after Youtube encoding they will play nicely when people view them on Youtube - the bigger the file you give Youtube the better the quality that comes out of Youtube, not a large file).

Note: the approximate file size can be seen on the main export window at the bottom of the Format Description box: scroll down to see the "Size Estimate". I have found that it overestimates the size by about 10%:

Here is an example video on Youtube using the 480x268 settings (this is in normal quality):

 

Here's a link to the high-quality version. Note the much crisper title at the start, as well as a much sharper overall video.

I think you'll agree that the quality from MEP 15 Plus is far better than MEP 14. If you are heavily into this sort of thing, I'd suggest you consider an upgrade to MEP 15 or later.
