Introduction
The volume curve can be used to temporarily edit the volume level of an audio track. When activated, the curve is visible on the timeline.
Activation
Right-click on the audio object and choose Volume Curve or use ALT+X. A thin blue line will appear at the very top of the audio track:

I suppose when you think about it, that could be logical: double-click to set a
node, single click then DEL to delete it.
Try this for changing the
colour: set one node, then open the KFA (Effects>Audio Effects), then click
on the curve colour box next to "Volume" in the KFA. Set it to red and the curve
turns red. Bring other audio objects onto the timeline: their Volume Curves are
red too. Close the program and reopen and they are still red. I haven't tried a
reboot yet, but it would appear the red gets stored in an INI somewhere. Yes, it's in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\MAGIX\Movie_Edit_Pro_15_Plus\UserData\MovieEdit.ini
as the first entry
in this section:
[CurveColors]
0=255 <----- Red
1=16777215
2=16777215
etc
BTW,
when I got to that KFA Curve Color dialog, it was already set at Red, despite
showing blue. But after OK'ing it, closing and re-opening MEP15, this time it
was displaying red.
From examining my last backup, I'd say the
previous code for that inappropriate blue colour was 11238929.
